Setting Up Outlook Express

Update Your Settings

If you were using Outlook Express to check your email and have recently received error messages you are in the right place! We have recently switched to a new and improved server which requires you to change your settings.

I.   Open Outlook Express and cancel any error message you may receive.
II.   Enter the Account Options screen by clicking on Tools --> Accounts from the Outlook Express tool bar.


III.   Select the account you wish to change from the list, then click Properties from the right hand menu.


IV.   Click the "Servers" tab and change your Account name from "name.yourdomain.com" to "name@yourdomain.com" where "name@yourdomain.com" is your email address.


V.   Check "My server requires authentication" at the bottom of the screen. When you have checked it, click "Settings"and press "OK".
